About Us


Nancy Whiteman

Nancy Whiteman is the mother of two daughters.  She brings over fifteen years of experience in developing and facilitating training and coaching sessions both professionally and as a volunteer for numerous community organizations.

 

In addition to her work with Shifting View, Nancy is a founding partner of The Whiteman Group, a consultancy which advices corporations on sales, marketing and business development issues.  Nancy holds a B.A. in Human Development from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

 

Linda Roan-Yager

 

Linda Roan-Yager has three daughters.  Her oldest daughter has Down syndrome and cleft lip and palate.  As a school psychologist and in her own practice, Linda has over fifteen years experience facilitating groups.  In addition to her work with Shifting View, she is a Family Resource Consultant for C.U. Boulder's Speech and Language Department, providing workshops and support for professionals and families around Colorado relative to best practice in family-directed services.

 

Linda brings expertise in developing and implementing group processes that challenge and inspire.  She won the Aaron Stein Memorial Award from the American Psychotherapy Association and was named an Educator of the Year in 1990 from the Texas Legislature.  Linda holds a Master's Degree in School Psychology from Trinity University and a Bachelor's degree from Texas State University.
